Atrax' artifacts

In the event Atrax be slain, has any potential thought been given to the idea that the acquisition and use of his artifacts(should it be possible to do so), would result in that specific guild becoming tainted by the same corruption, granting powers while also slowly turning everyone into undead, that belongs to that rulers guild and nodes? Changing how factions perceive this guild, eventually turning them into full blown corrupt players?

I have a sneaking suspicion that these artifacts will most definitely be acquired by the players. There will be a quest line to purify them in some way, and they will be Legendary items in game after completion of that quest line.

In regard to whether it’ll corrupt the guild who has one of these artifacts, I doubt it. There might be some kind of cost in the purification process, but I don’t think it’ll be as extreme as turning them into undead or corrupting them to the point it would be a burden too great to bear.

That’s my hunch anyway!

In this case, if there was the option to also turn undead, I think that would be kinda cool. Maybe as a unique feature of the artifact acquisition and forego the corrupt player flag..change faction perception etc...

Personally, Id have that purifying option there, as well as the option to become undead, flip flopping through an involved quest/events. Take them somewhere and infuse them once again with corrupt energy, or take them to purified.
