So another idea that should be considered to add some extra flavor to something that might otherwise be bland and cause cities to be a hellscape of robotic copy pasta "booths" set up by players. First we give cosmetic skins through challenges, crafts, store purchases, etc.
They could get really flavorful here, a fisherman's stall, a macho man's flexing stage, a spooky witch shack, and so on. Then give players the ability to set up emote sequences that play out while the booth is up. Maybe the fisherman is sitting there bored out of his mind stretching and yawning. That macho man now has a stage for all sorts of flexing and dancing around for attention. That witch player might occasionally cackle like a hag and creepily wave over passerby.
Just an idea that could make an otherwise mundane part of the game a bit more interesting. I would definitely take some inspiration from the FF14 community and their vast expanse of street dancers, talent/fashion shows, and otherwise wide array of fun emotes.

Though - the cosmetic idea can also work.
