I don't tihnk I've ever witness a smooth launch day for any mmo.
EQ/WoW/Archeage (and AGAIN now, EU fresh server down), RO, RO2, many Korean MMO

It has become a tradition - Should AoC follow suit and earn its badge of honor by failing it's launch day :D

    It is impossible for a launch day to be smooth without quantum tunneling.

    Asheron's Call had a good launch.
    It was my first MMO. It set a bar that DAoC couldn't reach.
