Let’s say I want to arrange Killfest (PvP tournament)
Game-night at the tavern (gambling tournament)

More people are likely to participate if the already signed up players have validated themselves through in game mechanics.

Let's maybe just start with a quest creation system. Steal it wholesale from Star Wars Galaxies, see what people do with it. Then figure out if tournaments can work.
