Ok, but don't put too much effort into it, my understanding was that it was very difficult to be sure of this, and if I remember (I'd have to check a bunch of data) you play one of the classes that explicitly DOES have their CC work on Greens, so remember that too, if it is worth checking.
So in other words, unless I somehow picked a server that changed this particular mechanic (I checked server features and it wasn't listed and usually this kind of stuff is), Steven made it harsher.
Thank you, NiKr, I'm pretty glad to have that cleared up for multiple reasons.
For now, I'll go with 'LG was right about the griefing potential', 'Steven responded with a change', which to me is enough.
I will assume that the change is sufficient, so onward we go.
still pretty sure skills that damage and cc will work on greens xD. pvpers need tools to deal with pve griefers too T_T and if oyu accidentally go red, we need somethign so that we can cc a green then escape
I just wanna make sure to get my info right for the next flood of players that come onto the forums after the next livestream with MANY opinions (hopefully all these threads will be off the front page by then).
If someone rants about 'how easy it would be to grief people with CC', the answer is NOW 'you can't CC non-combatants in Ashes'.
If that changes in Alpha-2 for whatever reason, no issue. But we need to be able to answer people right now because that's what we do, as 'people who are on this forum a lot'. And right now the answer is 'this is not possible'.
