Suggestion on areas that are being OVER gathered

Hi,

I really like the recent stream that went into detail about gathering and how there are systems in place for areas that are being over gathered (such as longer respawn time for trees). This is all good, but another suggestion that maybe food for thought is a mini boss or a group of enemies that may spawn if too many people are gathering in a specific area (for a long period of time).

Examples:
Trees are being farmed in a specific area by a lot of players (for 30 mins) which forces a nature spirit boss to arrive, which tries to kill all these gatherers as they are destroying its environment.

Players are killing a ton of animals in a area that's very close to a snake faction. This snake faction gets angry and starts ambushing players as they are DESTROYING their food source.

reasons why this maybe a good suggestion:
  • This system might be better as players aren't just CONSTANTLY waiting for materials to spawn, and instead they can participate in these events.
  • This system incentives PvE and PVP players to do more gathering (If drops are rewarding).
  • Lots of cool bosses maybe added (potential for cool designs).
  • Gives environments/locations their own identity.
  • More risk to gathering, gatherers are going to be required to plan out their trips.
  • Keeps gathering areas populated
  • bots are going to be at risk :)

Thanks for reading :)

EDIT: Apologies if this is already being worked on, or already mentioned. I don't keep up with streams and updates regularly.
