Does this mean you either play it at a certain time or you lose it? Or is it something you can play at leisure until it adds up to 2 or 6 month times?

    It means that once the game launches, you are able to play for 2 months before needing to pay additional subscription.

    It is POSSIBLE that sometime in the future Intrepid will give people an option to choose when their months begin, as this is a good practice when the item was bought this long in advance.

    But no, it's not 'adds up'.

    if it started in December 1st you'd be able to play until February 1st on a 2 month game time package.

    Steven specifically said he wants to do it like that in one of the dev streams, and Margaret said she would make that happen. It was a while back.
