Chaneeled Siege spells

Good evening!
I was wondering how viable a channeled spell for (sieges etc) which require (X) amount of people to be used.
Exemple; For every mage in a small Range around you get (bigger,More) fireballs
Just for those massive Sieges.

is it even viable to make?

Curious about peoples thoughts on it

    I'd hope we'll have these kinds of abilities for several archetypes and outside of sieges too.
