Bard request

Steven dropped some nice Bard info last night, including how bards use storytelling, song and dance to buff people.

I have one main request, and if fulfilled I am switching from summoner main to bard main:

Please let us be able to dance the Charleston to buff the party/raid. And not just for 2 seconds:

Or imagine grabbing the tank for a quick jitterbug before the raid boss, for extra damage mitigation!

I'd rather the song & dance thing be thematic, than having to stand and tap-dance while everyone else actually plays the game. The Cleric is the Healer, but is still allowed to join in. I don't see why the Bard should have to stand at the side and dance.

Really really want to see what they've got planned for the Bard.

Oh I agree, I am not being super serious here

I imagine any dancing to be fairly short out of combat things, although a few sick moves in combat is doable I suppose. Storytelling could be a channeled thing perhaps, if not also out of combat. I expect most of the in-combat stuff to be nothing but a quick flourish to keep things moving and fluid, and able to be woven in between hitting with the weapon.

Well, that's what we get in other games, so yeah, I expect the same.

But but!

What if it raised your evasion or debuffed your enemies with 'Baffled' and you could use it to buy time after your Tank falls for them to get back on their feet?
