im curious if there have been any new statements about maybe if there will be summons kinda of like the dragon communion spells in elden ring where you summon portions of creatures to do quick attacks or maybe more transformation type apsect of the devil magic that demiurge in overlord used. personally i loved both actually playing my first playthrough of elden ring as a pure dragon communion priest and i loved the transformation type spells the chracater in the show i mentioned used, transforming parts of his body for interesting boosts and access to doing specific new abilities.

First, as far as we're aware, there are no effects that transform your character at this point in time, with the sole exception of the race-morph abilities granted to some very rare individuals by the kickstarter. That could change, but at the moment, we're not aware of any transformation mechanics available to players.
Second, as far as we're aware there's no 'summon a body part of a creature' spell like the Dragon Communion spells of Elden Ring, at least not as a baseline part of how any of the classes work. We have summoners, but they call upon entirely separate beings, like Spirit Ashes from Elden Ring, and command them in battle. I could see a Dragon Communion-like effect being part of the spell effects of a Mage with a summoner as their secondary archetype, but no baseline archetypes support the concept.
Sorry to disappoint.
