Carpentry - Furniture Customization

I don't see on the wiki whether or not we'll be able to customize furniture by using dyes to do things like change the color of couches & chairs upholstery, or use stains to make wooden furniture lighter or darker.

What level of customization are we expecting for furniture during the crafting process, or is everything just a pre-made blueprint?
