Some UE5 projects have 21:9 resolution support and I hope Ashes of Creation does too. Its a rather unique aspect ratio and not common amongst a lot of software programs. I'm hoping Ashes will follow other UE5 projects and make the 21:9 Aspect Ratio Resolution a possibility inside Ashes of Creation.

Yeah, I'm looking into 1440p 21:9 ratio screens right now. I usually play at 4k resolution but my 1000w pc is very expensive to run right now. My work laptop runs on a timer at the socket and is on 24 hours but only uses power for 6 hours. Will do the same setup for my new gaming laptop. I would have gone 1080p 21:9 aspect ratio but because I do a lot of written work I need the higher fidelity resolution. I think 1440p 21:9 aspect ratio will look gorgeous due to ue5 anyway.

3840x1600 is an excellent 21:9 resolution too. Still might stick with my 4k screen though. Tough decision until A2. I used to game on a 16:10 1200x800 Resolution monitor with 0.5ms refresh and I haven't been able to simulate the same experience to date. I'm hoping a 3840x1600 resolution will perform just as well though I might have to accept a 1ms refresh.

During Alpha 1, I was able to play on my 32:9 Samsung Oddysey and it looked and played great. Everything scaled as it was meant to, but nothing could beat 4k on my OLED. Still, it gives me hope for official widescreen support going forward.

Yeah, it is helped by the fact we can move the UI to where we want it. I did play A1 on my 4k screen too but I was disconnected from the graphics of A1 due to the non content test parameters. I realise the end result will be much improved compared to A1 though.

Edit: I used to own a g-sync Asus Rog Swift monitor and I'm thinking of returning to a G-Sync monitor. I did look into the Odyssey but its free-sync. A lot of monitors are free-sync. I only really want G-sync or G-sync and Free-Sync screens. My curved 4k screen is just 60hz and I'm not certain I want to be stuck at 60hz any more. Though hz doesn't really matter for an MMO compared to an FPS.

HDR support will also be awesome if it can be implemented.
