I'm not remembering if it was ever shown, but is there any way to detect threat generation? like a color change? they mentioned nameplate things in this most recent update. I know they dont want addons, but I think having some way to track your generation is important to making the tank class play and feel more lively.

I'd personally prefer a tank ability that can indicate that or show that on the tank's side and not to anyone else. Make the tank have an in-lore "connection" with mobs where they see who the mob is angered at and to what degree.

I feel like knowing exact/approximate threat levels from different mobs is spoon-feeding and reduces the skill threshold of a tank class. Player experience with the class/specific dungeon/mobs should be enough for a tank to play their role effectively, imo.
