gear upgrading?

Any1 know if we will be able to upgrade or level up weapons and gear or we will need find new every few lvls?
Like if we find some gear/weapons we like we gonna just need discard them.
And I DONT MEAN ENCHANTING!!! I mean like we get a piece of gear and then we can upgrade it by using higher type of materials or maybe same weapon, like there is in other mmorpgs(BDO,Genshin,etc).

    I believe there will be a system to salvage lower tiered gear for materials to make higher tiered gear, but I'm sure you'd need more than one set to fully upgrade, plus you'd need the corresponding profession levels. Other than that, I'm not sure. I'd lean toward not being able to upgrade in the way you mention.

    Most gear will be crafted. Mobs will drop mats and we need to build stuff.
