Does the game have an official Chinese patch plan?

Hi all,

I am an official manager of a Chinese game forum, now many Chinese players are paying attention to the game Ashes of creation, I am also a game video blogger on a Chinese website, mainly introducing this game to Chinese players.

Recently, many players have started to ask questions about the Chinese patch. I don’t know if there is any chance to participate in the production of the Chinese patch or allow us to do the localization work by ourselves.

The plan - last we heard - was to not have a differing version for China.

That may change, but I wouldnt count on it.

What kind of work do you hope to do?

Last stated plans from Intrepid was that there will be no concessions towards a Chinese release. Those players who wish to participate can play on SEA servers offered at launch and due to China's Great Firewall and internet monitoring of it's population will need to VPN to play.
