Personal conceal spell? Illusion? I'm not speaking of invisibility.

I would love to either have some endgame equipment not look end and/or some type of personal conceal spell (illusion) that's negated upon attack. Most all know and have probably played/seen games where you pretty much know the 'abilities' of a player simply by observing what they're wearing. It would be nice to throw in some mystery to combat if either of my ideas were possible. What do you think?

    Sounds like invisibility to me.

Hmm, I don't think so. I believe op is basically asking for a spell that could make a fighter look like a mage or vice versa.

We have enough illusion through cosmetics. In fact, an illusion would have to disable the tag added due to the cosmetics. Thus, you would know it was an illusion.

Even if wearing cosmetics Intrepid plans for certain information to be able to be gleaned as "threat assessment" on a character, including level, class, armor type and rough tier gear level. If the OP is asking for a "ghillie suit" that has been popularized in other titles as a way to hide that information to facilitate "ganking" in the open world, that was ruled out years ago as something they plan to have as an option.

Ultima Online had a spell called Incognito, it changed your name, appearance, and pvp status but not armor/weapons. It allowed murderers to run into town and deposit their hard murdered loot into the bank. It also allowed for guilds to scout, roleplay opportunities, pranking, etc.

What I'd like to see is a character in great gear that doesn't 'scream' great gear.

We saw the mimic treasure box on carphin livestream. Might even get a spell to conceal ourselves the same. Not exactly what you had in mind but you can always change the appearance for something less flashy i suppose. Was personally planning to dress like a street urchin or bum.
  • In general, isn't crazy that we can see people's names and level from afar and also not considering weather conditions?

It's night and it's raining in the game, you can still see the name and level from that guy on the other side of the map
PvE means: A handful of coins and a bag of boredom.
