The mage has clean animations. The other classes have visual clutter

Every ability animation of the mage we saw today was a full bodied element, finding it's target, whereas with the melee classes there was a lot of flashy in the way.
No sause, no fillers, no flashy mess.
Just ice and lightning (and sleepy dust).
Great stuff.
I suggest that when it comes to melee classes, the devs work a lot more on character body posture and movements leading up to a weapon strike, instead of bright colors.
