I'm not sure what this is even about. Which builds? Aiming for what? Who's doing the aiming?

They're referring to character builds for combat, @NiKr ... which is all-inclusive of race, gear, primary/secondary archetype, skills, other buffs, and so on.

Of course, not all of that info is available right now.

Nor do we know how complete the classes will be for Alpha 2.

For example, Steven freely admitted during the April stream that they are still working on the fire and earth elemental abilities for the Mage. In addition, there are still a few classes to be showcased in front of players.

I know that. What I don't get is the question. What even could be "the plan" here? Does the OP want Intrepid to provide their own builds to players?

Afaik it's the players that come up with random combos of what's in the game to create "a build", but I don't see how Intrepid have anything to do with that. The only thing they could control in that matter is if they literally had only one race, only one class, only one gear set for the entire game and only one ability to use. That would be the only "build" that Intrepid could realistically plan, because as soon as you add even a single variant - people will start choosing whether to use it.

Ive plotted the general aspects of my build but major components are still up in the air. I'm not sure what will happen in the future. The min/maxer in me enjoys theory crafting, though I've updated my theory crafting as development progresses.
