How do you feel about the Mage Archetype so far?
I love how the Mage feels and how he looks. I enjoy what you have going on with the class so far.
How do you feel about being able to move while casting spells? Do you like the agency given to you, or does it feel unnatural?
The agency is fantastic and I love it. I like how you can move while casting spells.
How do you feel about the transitions between spells? Does this feel natural to you?
The transition is very good and smooth.
How do you feel about the general or rotational complexity of the Mage Archetype? Does it feel too simple, too hard, or just right?
I feel it is just right. I do hope you have more spells.
What excites you about playing as, with, or against the Mage Archetype?
I enjoy the Mage and love his fluidity. I think you should do the same fluidity for all your classes.
What are your favorite Mage archetypes in other games? Please provide examples when applicable.
Is there anything in particular you’re excited, or concerned about regarding what was shown with the Mage Archetype?
Guildwars 2 has a fantastic mage class with a very fun and fluid setup. I also love the Mage class in Diablo 3 and 4. The beam attack in Diablo 3 and 4 are awesome.
My favorite thing about the mage Archetype for Ashes of Creation is the ability to move while casting spells that is so cool.
I have noticed that you are using spells with the same name and type as Dungeons and Dragons. I would try and change the spell names to something that fit more with the world you are building.
