Hi Everyone.
I quit playing MMORPGs couple of years ago and now i want to come back with AOC.
I recently find out this is the most anticipated game of 2022-2023. So i want to give this game a chance and my time.
I want to player. ArchWizard, HighPriest or Oracle.
I have so many questions that i wanna ask under this thread. And i will be super happy if you will answer.
Here i go.

1: How can i learn about classes fastest way possible. Do you have a any blog, discord or video teach me better? I watched some youtube videos but i think i need more info.

2: In PVE different classes in one party seems cool and helps during levelling. but in PVP would it be better if you can create one party with full of mage, full of melee or full of rangers (of course 1 or 2 clerics in them)? As a former Knight Online player it was easier in PVP. Also what is the correct number of people who can create one party in total 3-4-8-16?

3: The rangers has only 3 skills to use? (i love the rangers last skill but even with side option it seems so less).

4: Which one is the best class playable solo? I assume it is rangers but clerics are sounds playable solo.

5: The mage class in official video when they spell a skill they focus to much to deal damage in my opinion. And it feels like in that moment both PVE and PVP they become so vulnerable it might be a huge problem in the future. Yes they have a blink skill to run away or dive in but it seems even in farming or levelling will be hard for them. Any other opinions about that?

6: Do you have any informations about items and their classes combinations?

Right Now. These are my questions that i wonder most.
Thank you even if you don't reply.

The game is still in Alpha, @Gypsycho ... including the Mage showcase.

So, still a few years off before Ashes releases.

You can catch up on all things Ashes (including classes) by reading the Wiki ... and staying tuned to the Forums (and other socials).

    Welcome aboard!

    1. They are still working on the classes, and we don't have much details so far apart from there will be 64 class-combinations. They've only showcased gameplays of the fighter, cleric, ranger, mage archetypes so far.

    2. Heard that Ashes would lean more on the "different classes complements each other" side. We don't know for sure yet but it's unlikely a one-class team would work better than a balanced one.

    3. It's still work . in . progress .

    4. Classes are still WIP and we don't know. Tradionally it's been the ranger (long range, high dps, high mobility) or summoner (safest coz your pet tanks for you) types, while the "worst" being cleric types (longest time per mob kill), but there's no guarantee that Ashes classes would conform to that stereotype. I imagine all classes would be able to solo contents that are meant to be soloed anyway.

    5. It's still work in progress.

  • @Voidwalkers thank you for your answers. I dived into wiki now and learning faster. I assumed Ashes will out soon and i needed to catch up fastly but it seems we have still a great time to explore. Thank you again.
