Cosmetic system idea

so this is an idea have put out before as how i feel AoC should do player cosmetics and i feel its only right to come back and do it again since i still stand by the idea and have some pretty rock solid ideas as to why it should be done how i suggest i feel. i'll start by explaining the idea which is to have a system honestly basically just like ESO where there are 'styles' of a sort made up of several motif pages one can find randomly and these pages can be used by ones self to gain access to the style or traded/sold. once you have acquired a motif page, it is permanently unlocked to your account although only the toon who used the item can actually craft items in that style and certain pages could be locked behind being a high enough level crafter with that idea coming from a rework of ESO's writ system i have where it wouldnt be dogshit dailies but instead would be the random chance to find in dungeons, crafting blueprints perhaps they could be called which a crafter could perhaps use alongside any required materials for the blueprint to than craft a like lvl 51 item which could be called like a divine item or something with bonus properties much akin to ESO's mythic items with these would be the full max level items you could possibly get and wouldnt be able to have any motif over top them meaning you would have to show what gear your wearing for that specific slot allowing others to gage your full capabilities with perhaps also you could be limited to only 1 divine item equiped at any time allowing these items to be made truly powerful and live up to the 'divine' title.
now as for the rebuttals and rebuttals to the rebuttals premtively, one might say that this would make it so that there would be no way to see someones gear and know what they can do which would ruin an aspect of the skill but to this i say that costumes do the same thing and honestly if there is no outfit type system than the costumes become pay to win because if you wear one you can hide what you ACTUALLY are wearing and have a tactical advantage over those who dont wear them and even against those who do wear them because they cant see what gear your wearing.
another objection i could imagine people might have is that it would remove the fun of showing of your high level gear you earned and take away the joy of people seeing you and being in awe of the high level shit you have on but to that the counter is simply that if armor can be bought and sold and the resources for them can also be bought and sold than you have the same problem cause how do you know someone EARNED that armor and didnt just save up enough gold to be able to buy it but then there is also the point to make that someone saving up the gold or earning it if it is actually rare and hard to get than you haver the same effect and people running around in eso wearing expensive motif's have that same effect on your more involved common plays like myself who can only at most get a million gold every so often, seeing a dude running around in a outfit that is made up of about 20 million gold while currently im sitting here with a few thousand left hits that same type of way.
beyond all of that like i stated in the og explaination of the idea, this could also lead into a fun tie in to the crafting system and hell the crafting system could be how you change outfits with you have crafters make gear in the style you want or become a crafter for the gear you need and earn the styles yourself and crafters could charge more or less depending on what styles they have making it even more of a player interaction.

XD i mean the thing is tho that you'd still be chasing the specific gear set ya want or chasing the gold to buy it from a auction house or crafter so whats the difference especially since this would let people customize their own personal look and like i said, it could be locked to CRAFTERS where crafters buy the motifs/styles so they can crafter gear in the style so if you aint gonna be a crafter than the most you need to worry about is the tax for asking for specific motifs and or the extra materials to have something made in a specific motif.
