Tab Targeting vs Curser Targeting?

Has there been any discussion on tab targeting vs curser targeting? Tab targeting of course is hitting the tab key and cycling through enemy targets. Curser targeting is when you will attack with your equipped weapon whenever you click the left mouse button. You must aim the reticle at an enemy to make sure your attacks hit.

Extensive discussion, which part are you interested in?

Oh nice, I have been looking at the wiki but there is so much content there. Thank you for the link. I was wondering which one is planned to be in the game or if there was an option for both. I will go look at the wiki now. Thanks again.
Right now the answer is 'it's complicated', so please ask any additional questions you have after reading that page, and I'm sure someone will answer them.

Yep, right now it suggests that there will be an option to toggle between both, which I really like. Its nice if you are an archer and use the reticle from an advantage position.
Its definitely not exactly what you think when you are expecting an aim option, but with some work I think it will get close enough that people will like it for that sort of style gameplay.
I'm personally tab target all the way for the most part. Kind of depends on the class I am playing.
Let me give you some links to games that have implemented it perfectly:

I’ll do you one better,
Darkfall, Darkfall Unholy Wars, Conq Blade, New World, TERA also did it.
It makes perfect sense in a mmorpg.
In Mortal Online 2 you can even miss your target and heal the enemy by mistake.
Don't remind me lol. I tried playing mage and between the server delay and my horrible point and click aiming things never got hit.
