Those are the words we live by. They mean, “See Truth,” for that is our mission. That is our duty. That is our vow as Vigilants of Shol, the ever-watchful God of Truth. We pledge to preserve what is true and destroy what is false, for corruption is the enemy of honesty.
The Vigil of Shol (VoS) is a fraternal, militant, religious order devoted to Shol, the God of Truth. This newly founded institution was inspired by the religious enlightenment of a Squire, encouraged by their Knight mentor. The Vigilants come from all backgrounds and bear many titles. They can be anything from knights, mages, preachers, or even farmers. Our shared duty is to safeguard the innocent from the forces of corruption. We prioritize adhering to medieval authenticity in our roleplaying to ensure an immersive experience while understanding a fantasy setting and curating related stories and development.
Due to the core philosophy, the Vigil of Shol is a straightforward organization with few hierarchical positions. This is how we will plan to be different from most other guilds you may come across:
