Lol - @Solvryn Um... wanna guess what side yours truly is on?
Your comments read that you’re not for Tulnar.
Why?
If they wanna roleplay being an Empyrean that thinks Verra is their birth right go for it.
A few thousand years and being split from proto elves says otherwise.
haha. Hypothetically if the elves that left are in their true forms and the ones remained were transformed into tulnar... who really is the proto
The four races split into the sub ethnic groups on Sanctus.
Empyrean don’t have a claim to Verra.
Tulnar do, they’re the four races plus minor ones.
from the wiki
https://ashesofcreation.wiki/Races
Tulnar (pronounced Tull-nar[17][18]) is a playable race in Ashes of Creation.[59][5] The (ancestors of) the Tulnar fled to the Underrealm to escape the Corruption that befell Verra.[60]
The Tulnar is a combination of four major races and many minor races that were left behind on Verra after the apocalypse.[61][62][63][5]
Minor races
Minor races on Verra include Giants, less reputable sects of Humans, Gnomes, and half-bloods of different races.[6]
I see what you mean
Aye. Like I said people can RP being a racist all they want but being good at PvP is a whole other beast.
all part of the fun as long as the discrimination is directly related to the fantasy world
Heheheh
Truth!
We are gonna drop a stone on their head.
Is this after they are buried up to their necks?
And that is a brilliant backdrop for a community driven storyline running parallel to the story arcs that are unfolding on Verra by design of Intrepid. I think it is also a chance to learn the consequences of siding with either of these factions. Generally speaking: As long as this conflict is kept to the game world, I think it is something the game can benefit from allowing.
On the same note: It is worth remembering that younger players might have more trouble distinguishing between ingame & IRL so maybe a tooltip that participation is optional in these kinds of things could help or an age restriction of 12+. Heck, Intrepid could even continue it's livestreams and pick out some of these more "adult" topics and discuss them, inviting for example players of factions on one of these servers that play out such a race driven conflict to show less experienced players how this is part of the game and not reality.
Suffice to say: I'd love to see a more serious approach of these topics in the game, without adding "mandatory racism lectures" about it.
If you dont have these things you make this extremely hard to connect with world that is something beyond make-believe. Just us humans in the world today have so many differences and problems with each other, I can only imagine the severity and differences between different intelligent species. Oh also there's magic and corruption mixed into this to even further muddy the waters.
Give us Warcraft(1,2, and 3), not hearthstone.
I kind of find it hard to see to pull off eith how online games are these days. Most MMOs seem to be rated M, but I think that is do strongly because of an adult community and weakly due to content.
ESO is rated M, and the language, themes, violence, and 'blood' is on the tamed side. Because it lacks gore, and most references to drugs would go over a casual player's head. It doesn't have nudity (or Sanguine for that matter.)
Most MMOs are kinda watered down that way, I think.
So M rated for community reasons.
I remember a thread over a year ago that was talking about this. I believe thematically they were/are aiming for a family friendly ESRB. I doubt it would be rated M even though a majority of the players may be in that margin. The design wont be overly violent, sexual or bloody and gore.
I see an ESRB of T being the highest based on everything we've seen.

It could be an M but design wise it's a T
arent we sanctusians? or whats the actual word xDD
You're Sanctonians if you're from Sanctus.
You're native Verrans if you're Tulnar.
Yes they will.
or orcs or dwarfs
not even humans
Depraved, you give me the vibe you like thicc orc mommies.
Don't lie.
