A new disscussion about possible spell resoureces

so thinking about the life augments vfx in one of my previous posts made me think about the concept about using hp as your casting resource as the way to make the lifesteal and health regen able to be strong but ultimately feel weak cause your constantly draining your health to cast your spells. honestly in elden ring especially, im playing the convergence mod and and doing a bloodflame caster/swordmaster build who focus's on using the rivers of blood, eleanoras poleblade, and buff spells primarily only using my ranged magic to deal with targets that move around too much (partially cause its health cost can be a bit dangerous)
TLDR; i guess that build plus my most recent post i mentioned just made me wonder if hp would be a resource for certain spells to be cast of if that would be the very type of ACTUAL bloodmagic that people mentioned steven attested he didnt want in the game because it felt too evil. beyond that i also will say that if blood magic feels too evil than what about the FACT that we will be getting necromancy which especially depending on the interpretation is WAAAYYYY more evil like in TES where necromancy is literally forcibly ripping a mortals soul back to their body forcing them to live and feel all the pain of their rotting flesh tenfold as you puppet them around often to kill their friends or allies before often trapping their very souls in soul gems to use for enchanting which sends their souls to basically a limbo-like dimension which is the penulimate hell of TES.

XD yeaaaa and thats why i specifically mentioned it being tied to the life augment where the life augment would actually give you substantial lifesteal and health regen but because all your spells cost hp it balances out to meaning taking hits still probably means your gonna need a healer to bring your health back up to full or your gonna need to play passively and hope the rng gods give you enough blocks and dodges to heal to full.
