Are there plans for weapon scaling based on race/height?
I hope we will be able to do some Half-sword technique attacks.

In relation to what @Nerror was getting at, most of those blades that length in reality only had certain practical uses with physics involved which isn't quite the issue for ashes or most fantasy games.
The heaviest claymore to exist was 23 lbs (10 kg) and was held by a 7 foot 6 inch Scotsman lol.
I would imagine that ultra-great swords would be double to triple that depending on ore but much heavier due to physics of where to hold them for practicality. The width of the one we saw in the demo definitely looks like an Ultra Great Sword based on it's dimensions lol.

Think you're referring to a Claymore, although we're used, they weren't common throughout medieval Europe and only really went up to around 150cm. Typically oversized swords weren't really a thing as they're not very practical to use.
But this is a fantasy game so suppose that doesn't really matter. I'd personally prefer not to have oversized swords and the one in the stream looked odd to me, but all have our own preferences I suppose.
People out here like the biggest sword should be a short sword and creative flow should be removed to make everything boring and static.
One on stream is great, I'd have 0 issue if it was bigger or thicker, there should be all kinds of different styles out there for people to create their fun fantasy character.
Any bigger than that ... ... ... and it will be just ... ... ... ... a huge hunk of Iron ... ...

Exactly, it's the slimmer version that would be needed.
I mean, the guy using it seemed to be keen to be on-stream as much as possible, so maybe he was trying to get our opinion on it before they did any more.
