Thoughts of Survival aspects in Ashes

I'm an avid enjoyer of survival style games and I find myself looking for similar things in Ashes. This might not line up with Intrepid game design but I think it could be entertaining and educational to discuss.
Basics of some survival games involve a hunger, thirst, and sleep meter. Also things like temperature effecting where and how you travel and stamina affecting your travel. I think it could add meaningful experiences in exploration and utility of homes/shelter. Some people might think this add unnecessary hurdles and difficulties to the game, from my perspective the best experiences in gaming ,solo and with friends, is when you overcome those hurdles and difficulties.
I'd love to hear more thoughts about this and if you think my idea is crappy then is there a way you could see a different element in the game adding impact to exploration, travel, and finding new recourses?

my best experience in gaming is when you jump from one platform to another collecting coins or bananas (like in donkey kong) and then collecting everything in a level. finding hidden collectibles, bonus levels, etc. i think ashes and all the players would benefit greatly from this, solo or with friends.
But is too late for AoC to switch direction.
Also it would fit more to a first person game and which does not have so many NPCs and PvP.
If we die often anyway because NPCs or PvP, there is less fear of death due to hunger or other biological needs.
Weather effects like cold snowy climate and desert climates impacting the non-natives is something i lightly suggested before. To give more of a home field advantage and incentive for dunir to build cities in the snowy mountains and the desert acclimated humans to build in desert areas and the nikua to build in wetlands etc etc
Less so for a survival based reason and more-so so we see diversity in the types of nodes. Most players will probably go elf and human, per every mmorpg that allows those races. so we can expect to see mostly those nodes on most servers UNLESS they have a reason to not build in certain areas.
I dont want a survival mmorpg, pax dai was a huge turn off knowing i need stamina to run...
I don't think you're alone in that thought for pax dai haha
Sounds like a nice game
Im just a anti building kind of guy, will be interesting to see how the game actually turns out when it is more complete than a building simulator. Building was pretty cool though in what you can build just not for me lol.
I'm definitely of the same mindset, I would like the ability to set up a camp fire and maybe a tent so I could cook up some food or maybe observe the movements of some game (creatures) in the area.
Also, say you're a red player. Wouldn't it be neat to set up a little camp to store some stolen goods or to lie in wait for players to show up so you can jump them?
