If not:

Would having a World Naming Competition be a cool idea?

Grow the idea...plant a seed...water it...and it shall grow.

* Part of a KS pack contents. Is a token to vote on the name of the World from a shortlisted Dev list? - Nice and easy to put a time frame with this.

* Name a Node (although nodes invisible to the player at ground level). Areas/Node names might be required for a World Map view.


Or just as a discussion for some fun...;

With what we know now, what would you name the World?...and the Nodes?

No seriously, I'm sure they have a name, or several they are debating on. I've created dozens of worlds as a kid (I used to love making maps of fantasy realms) and I always started with the name.

I'd like to see a realistic name, not just some sci-fi themed random line of letters like Ateorid (Literally I didn't even think this one. I just let my fingers push some buttons). Perhaps Aphrodia or Dominala, maybe a bit shorter like Carsa or Phennia. Any way it has to be a femine sounding word because of mother nature.

Nodes should randomly pull from a giant list of names, created by the devs. If nodes can be destroyed and rebuilt, they should always be changing instead of having the same name over and over again. Maybe the community can start compiling a list and the devs give the final OK and add it officially.

Nocturnius could be a nice name for a node that is like dark sided

Some good suggestions.
Not only the names, but ideas.

I do like the concept of changing node names on destruction (on city destruction).
This might also provide a ongoing fresh feel.

I thought we were discussing about the name of the whole land, not just nodes. Either way I'd love to create a commynity list of node naming suggestions.
