Just as an idea of what it could do to make it feel impact as any style of player. If someone is a solo player and mine and area a lot for an example that particular area maybe will spawn a quest to help upgrade the mining of that node. Basically keeping what you do as an individual feel impactful and what you do has meaning than just leveling up a bar to progress the node to the next level, which you wont really be able to see progress in my mind as a player .
