    If it's difficult to implement betting system, perhaps skip that and have just in-node arena where people can practice fighting and sign up for weekly tournaments where it's possible to win points or rewards to collect maybe like specific arena armor similar to how kingdom come deliverance did it for example.

    Training grounds where mentors can train lower level players. Also training in general could be beneficial for both the player and the character by giving some buffs, like increased running speed or other buffs depending on class.

    Another Idea would be ... say 50v50 the objective would be to kill the dragon. Whoever does the most damage wins, and each kill (pvp)moves his health up. This way PvP and Pvers can do content together like the sieges. You should get a combat buff if you win or a chance at a rare drop. (still in the arena)
