Wrong forum? NDA? Might be about the character creator meant for current testers.

    Oh, nvm then

Well, the world isn't as simple as male/female, never was, but now it's being recognized. I like how BG3 does it, but since we won't see genitals (or boobs) in Ashes it's all a bit moot.

Maybe discuss your feelings with a gender specialist. You're not alone anymore.
The girl watched the last of the creatures die and murmured a soft 'Thank you' to her rescuer.

The stranger's eyes lifted to the blood red cloud on the horizon.

Could also just not call it anything and just display the different types with suitable icons, and leave the naming to the players. c: Everybody wins!

If it's just body type 2, and not female, then why does one type have to wear a top and the other doesnt?

    Because of this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_content_rating_system
Old-fashioned or outdated as it might be for some things, it's still a reality they have to consider.

Edit: And they are trying to go for a Teen rating if they can: https://ashesofcreation.wiki/Ashes_of_Creation#ESRB_rating

And who isnt allowed to go topless according to that system?

Women. This isn't the gotcha question you think it is lol. Laws and regulatory bodies have always been lagging behind societal norms and changes. Slavery/segregation/racial discimination, women's rights, homosexuality, mental ilnesses, the list is long. The past is rife with people, mosly conservative in nature, protesting change and progress, and being viewed as on the wrong side of history by most later on. Laws and regulations always lag behind where the majority of society currently is. That is completely normal. Intrepid has to navigate both where society as a whole is, and the laws and regulations they are subject to.

Correct. Women. Females. Not body type 2. Rest is word salad.

They also are going to have same sex marriages. Awesome. How though without sexes? Same body type marriage? Wow. Brave.

No? That's just you casually erasing transpeople and nonbinary people. I'll be generous and assume you are writing from a point of ignorance and not malice, so here is further reading for you to understand: https://transequality.org/issues/resources/understanding-transgender-people-the-basics

As for what Intrepid will end up doing, I have no clue. I think I like @Dezmerizing 's take on it.
  • Roleplay it. It would probably not be a thing in a world like this Ashes build. The races, if not specifically stated, would prolly be male/female. If someone wants to be trans, they can be trans, just tell people when you meet them. That does not change the fact though, that a female body is a female body, and a make body is a male body. It does not change your sex to be trans, only your gender, correct?

Quadruple plot twist , it is not of reptilian gender , it is a multicultural combination of several race and genres.

When talking about reproduction, there are only two genders. When talking about conscious identity, there are infinite possibilities.

BTW Alex Jones was wrong about the frogs. They didn't go gay, they went full trans. Completely able to reproduce as the other gender.

Humans still aren't at that stage regardless of how we identify.

Next we are going to have to tell Germans that tables aren't men, and tell the Spanish that tables aren't women either. It's amazing that people with languages like these managed to reproduce when they think inanimate objects have genders...

    ;)

Wish real life problems could be kept out of games. I play games to take a break from RL. IMO, let IS make the game they plan too and when they give us the game. We can decide if we want to play it. Vote with a wallet.
