this is just an idea i wanna get out early so that when the core mechanics are polished enough in alpha 2 and they start moving to honing in the visuals, they can maybe use this idea or something very similar to flavor the commision boards and quests.
so the idea is one that should be familiar to anyone who has seen like any isekai anime, manga, or manhwa where essentially, the commision board will be on a wall in an adventurers guild building since the lore is that we are basically explorers coming to rebuild and reclaim the world that was lost so it makes sense the player characters will need a name and not one like the vestige or dragonborn that techincally is supposed to denote only one singular person but that WE ALL are called with something good that fits is adventurers as while its simple, thats part of the point of ashes is that we all are just in a way normal people going about our lives in the world of verra and if we become heros, its through our own actions and choices and not because WE ALL are the destined *ONE* or something like that. beyond that there could even be the fun flavor added where you can grab the paper off the board when you accept it and either just go do the job OR if you want to hear the explaination read out to you with some good voice acting, they could use ai voices to give each of the at least 76 guild receptionists unique voices and have them read you the listing and ask if you accept the quest in some cool fasion with that way you also could even have a fun animation pop up of the commision paper flashing up in a ui with a cool powerpoint style transition animation that has the paper fly up into the ui space and than get a big old accepted stamp or something with a second one one return or if you ignored talking to the receptionist, only one that appears as you turn in the quest marking its completion in a similar manner with than the node reputation in actuality is the adventurer level starting with copper than to bronze and than iron and than gold and than platinum and than mythril and than lastly, adamantite or whatever the most expensive and highest level metal would be or something like that
