Throughout the course of over a year, I have dedicated myself to curating this series, pouring my creativity and passion into each distinct piece. Given the nature of music production, which often involves collaboration with vocalists and intricate production processes, the journey to bring each composition to fruition has been both exhilarating and time-consuming. As we approach the culmination of our first volume with the imminent release of our 12th song, I am thrilled to finally unveil it here.

New Music of Creation Video:

Yet another piece completed for our Music of Creation Series. This one is really special for me as I got a chance to compose the actual musical portion of the song while working with Ari Cortez during a week that I had taken off for vacation! A small surprise for my guild mates as I didn't tell them that this is what I was doing in the morning hours and took the last few days from my vacation to disconnect from Discord so we could finish this song up! I know I said I wasn't going to do a vocal piece for a bit, but I felt inspired, and I have a great friend in Ari who has taught me some really neat composition tricks!

This piece is correctly titled "Goodbye Sanctus" in honor of the day when the game launches and we, as roleplayers, find ourselves entering the world of Verra. It was heavily inspired by the characters I've engaged with in the Guild House - and I couldn't help but think of our time when we have to say goodbye to the stories we told on Sanctus as we enter together into a new world.

This song is yet another surprise, but this time it's dedicated to Sersei Kimura and Almark Raine. Ari Cortez has composed both the lyrics and melodies herself, crafting a truly unique piece. The song beautifully depicts the unspoken love between the shattered moon that hangs over the world of Verra, illustrating how their gravitational pull keeps them together, much like two souls drawn to each other by an invisible force.

Commissioned by Nahele My'runji, this particular piece stands out because I had no involvement in the musical composition this time—every note and word came from Ari Cortez herself. New Music of Creation - Shattered Chains (Commissioned Composition)

The vocals and composition were done by Nigel Pérez, a local artist from Houston, Texas, who took on our commission for this specific piece. Typically, I try to be involved in the music, contributing at least to the composition, but my musical skills are not yet up to the task. Nigel had a different approach that I liked. Instead of creating a sad-sounding song, he thought it would be better as a song of remembrance and preservation, hence the more upbeat tone of overcoming grief. I hope you like it!

I wanted to capture this moment for the community because it truly reflects a significant RP event we recently experienced with the wedding and its aftermath. The tone of this piece, I felt, was fitting to convey that while sad and terrible things do happen, life must go on. We remember, and then we march forward.

An Update to our Gilded House, Music of Creation Playlist!

Hey Everyone!

I apologize for the delay in updating our Music of Creation series. Sometimes the creative process takes a bit longer than we anticipate, and this particular piece required several reworks to reach a place where both the artist and I felt satisfied with it. We aimed for an ethereal feel, and I think she did a phenomenal job capturing that essence. Of course, we’ll continue to refine this genre to make it even smoother, but as they say, it’s all part of the learning process, and we’re taking baby steps!

Interestingly, this song is quite fitting as the release of Alpha Two has recently been pushed back, so I suppose we’ll all be dreaming of Verra just a little longer! I hope you enjoy the music!

An Update to Our Gilded House Music of Creation Series!

I’ve taken some valuable feedback from one of our Gilded House members (Specifically Rashad) to enhance this extended version. It now features a more developed middle section, added tracks, and smoother transitions for a cohesive flow. I’ve also removed the intro portion of the video to provide a seamless listening experience, without any sharp contrasts between sections.

As a self-taught creator, I’m always working to improve, and I’m really proud of how this piece has evolved. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it! Your feedback is always appreciated.
