Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

Hang penalties or logoff delays for plug pulling?

I saw a thing about "60 second delay for character leaving realm while corrupted". Is there going to be a similar idea for non-combatants? WOW has a 20s timer unless you are in a "Rested" zone, like a town/inn.

I doubt they will just let you plug pull when you see a big group coming at you and avoid risk altogether.

    Considering that the mechanic itself will already be implemented, I'd imagine Intrepid will be able to enable it for green players if the "plug pull" becomes a noticeable exploit.

    I'd still kill you, if you log; Corruption is meant as a penalty/dissuasion element, and my Cleric/Cleric full-spec healer will be taking any PvP kill-counts that occur :scream:

    Yeah good point, if you kill someone that plug pulled and had a logoff delay, you would go corrupted, and they would still drop mats.

    It actually does sound like a viable strat though. You are farming, fully loaded and suddenly u see a group roll up in the distance that can gank you. Plug pull and have a chance at surviving, or try to run and guaranteed death + matt loss.
