Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

You can download the game launcher here and we encourage you to join us on our for the most up to date testing news.

What would you do in my place?

For as long as I played MMOs, I mained Druids and if not available, monks. Considering there are no shapeshifting classes and lack of fist weapons (so I can at least RP it)-What do you think I should main?

If this is still the case you could maybe enjoy whatever these archetype combos would be with the summoner.

My question since druids and monks are nothing alike. What do you like about the two classes? Also, we have yet to see all of the base classes and none of the sub classes.

    1. Weapon choices (fist weapons, mauls, staves, unarmed)
    2.Versatility.
Druid-Switching from tanky bear to dps cat. Using forms to engage and disengage.
Monk-Getting in and out of combat with ease.

Common about these two would be jumping in and out of fight on a fly, I guess. On top of being tanky in clutch situation while having at least 1 or 2 HoTs to keep me alive.

If I was in your place, and had decided that I did want to play Ashes despite it not having my usual gameplay style, I would try other styles to find one that I like.

If you'll only play the gameplay style you've played from different games, just go back and play those games again. If you want to try a new game that has different gameplay styles, then try a different gameplay style.

Believe me, I did. I pretty much played all WoW classes.
From the looks of it, I will have to play some variation of rogue.

All classes can use all weapons. You can be a Mage with a 2H sword or a Mace and Shield. So Ashes is options are us. We don't have facts yet but my guess your class will be Bard. They seem to be heading toward Jack of all trades. Well that's my feeling with the little tid bits we have been given.

Hmmmm. I don't want to sound stupid or like i am not taking you serious, but ... ...

    ... ... Please believe me - > no matter which Class/Archetype you play - > you want to "main" a Monster-Coin Participant. (LOL!) :D

You want to get your Hands on this System that allows You to become different Types of Monsters. Their Being, Shape, Size, Strength and Weaknesses will everytime be different.

Become Part of a Group of Zombies, Goblins - or maybe a Giant Dragon in Case you get selected or otherwise decided to be a mighty Boss Monster.

Imagine it like throwing Pokeballs at your Enemies but instead of a Pokemon " YOU " come out of the Ball to wreck Havoc with your Abilities. 😁
