Greetings,

My name is FatalSyndicate, I am establishing a guild for Ashes of creation. The name of the guild is "The Ashen Empire". I'm coming over from New World where I created and lead a company that captured and held territories from launch week until I left New World due to its countless issues(4 months). I started my journey with MMO's with RuneScape in the early 2000's. I have also played ESO, BDO, Lost Ark and some limited Guild Wars 2. I began following AOC in late 2021 and have been an avid follower since. I've read the wiki start to finish multiple times and keep up with every update. I like many of you, eagerly await Alpha 2!




The vision for The Ashen Empire is to create a 18+ Semi Hardcore/Hardcore PVX guild that engages in all aspects of Ashes of Creation. While the classification will be Semi/Hardcore, the intent is to create an environment and team where everyone feels welcome and included while still achieving goals and being competitive on multiple fronts. To achieve this goal The Ashen Empire will be built around and stick to the following principles...




In my experience, the best way to achieve this is to identify and encourage participation of gameplay loops on an individual basis. Avoiding widespread policies that force guild members to interact with gameplay loops that they don't enjoy. To help reinforce and organize this philosophy, The Ashen Empire will have a 3 division structure. The structure is as follows..

PvP Division: From slaying dragons, destroying caravans and crushing enemies of the Ashen Empire, whether it be on land or sea the Military Division specializes in PvE and PvP defense and offense. Let there be combat!

Economic Division: The Economic Division of the Empire is rich in individuals that seek wealth. Often found near an auction house, merchant vendor, or dungeons. Members of the Economic Division are also expert caravanners, tavern owners, and traders.

Artisan Division: Picking colorful flowers, striking red hot iron, sewing the finest fabrics. Without the Artisan Division the Empire is bare bones and tattered. Those interested in production, crafting, exploring, and gathering will feel at home within this division. They work closely with both the Military and Economic divisions.




To achieve growth, success, and longevity of the guild. Guild members’ responsibility, recognition and reward is of vital importance. The Ashen Empire will have the following to encourage and recognize member participation and contribution.

Hierarchy Structure - A robust hierarchy structure that offers a balanced combination of recognition, responsibilities, and rewards. Whether your goal is to lead others and take on responsibilities within the guild, or to contribute within a team for your division. The hierarchy structure offers ranks with varying levels of expectations, responsibilities and rewards.

Voice and Text XP systems - Members will gain xp and level up for participation in voice and text chats in discord and in game. These levels will translate to in game rank as well as unlock titles and additional access within the discord and guild.

Discord Economy - A large discord economy that has items that translate to in game rewards. Gambling, games and payouts based on rank are a few ways members can earn currency for this economic system.




While the Guild will have goals that will require discipline and dedication. It is important to remember we are all gamers, we share a passion that is unique in the way that we can connect with others from around the world. Developing friendships and handling confrontation with others in a healthy and positive way is a key principle to success and having fun. The Ashen Empire offers the following to promote Camaraderie..

Game and Movie nights - A monthly game/movie night to allow members to get together in a stress free environment for laughs and having fun. Picking a movie to watch or playing a game like Crab games is a great way to get to know other guild members while earning prizes that correlate to Ashes of Creation.

Raffles and Giveaways - Monthly raffles and giveaways to encourage participation in discord and Camaraderie building events. Items ranging from in game currencies to gift cards and other prizes.

Conflict Resolution system - A support ticket system that allows complaints or concerns to be seen and heard by leadership without disrupting community environments. Leadership and Mods will be active within discord to ensure it remains a non-toxic environment.




Although achieving the goals of the Guild and working as a collective to be effective and competitive is important, It's also important to recognize the individual. Providing resources that give individual guild members the ability to advance and progress in their chosen gameplay loop is of paramount importance. Below are some of the resources that will be available to guild members in The Ashen Empire.

Grand Master Artisans - Individuals who have mastered their chosen artisan professions who take the time to assist members with their processing and crafting needs.

Training Sessions - Military specialists who are available to assist in build creation and ability rotations. Developing team coordination and training for future conflicts.

Dedicated Dungeon Runs - Set times for dungeon runs with groups that have proven track records in success. Allowing members who are having trouble either finding groups or beating the dungeon to complete dungeon content.

Community Support - A carefully fostered team environment where leadership and members alike actively want to help each other grow together and succeed together.

• Take control of a Castle as soon as possible
• Help establish an Economic Node
• Recruit players for all positions from Alpha and Beta tests going into launch
• Flesh out the guilds strategy during A2 and assemble an effective plan for launch

Currently looking for individuals who would be interested in leadership positions. These individuals should have an Alpha 2 key and have interest in not only in game mechanics but interest in leading others and feel comfortable with MMO politics.

The following is a list of some of the responsibilities these individuals would have..

-Leading teams of 6+ members
-Participating in meetings of all levels
-Helping organize events for the guild
-Deescalating and resolving internal conflicts
-Keeping track of relevant statistics and data
-Helping plan and execute plans within their division of the guild
-Participate in external guild politics

While The Ashen Empire is accepting all levels of members here is a list of priority positions that I'd like to fill..
