Decent showcase.... But!

The best take away from the stream was "Bard showcase within the next couple of months"

The core features like Nodes are much more important than any class showcase.

Agree on that. The Classes may be important for the individual Player - but the Core Gameplay of the Game will revolve around these amazing Places known as Nodes.

I'm definitely more hyped for next months live stream about node wars. Even if you won't always participate in these events, they will shape the world that we play in.

    I hope You are right.

Because honestly - this last monthly Presentation was nice, but d~uuuhhh a bit of Nighttime Gameplay. :D glad to know they found such a nice Middleground regarding Darkness and Lighting,

also it is ingame-LORE-wise GOOD explained why it is so "bright" at Night. That one Moon up above is GIGANTIC and shines brightly. ;)

    But that's it.
No new Class Footage, no new Mechanic of my beloved, juicy Nodes or Caravans. * snivel * ^.^ x'D

By the Time the next Presentation hits, i will probably be among the Apex-Vampires of V Rising and fight mighty Battles with Sir Dracula from Vardoran himself. (*,...,*) always like how we can build our own Stuff, Homebases, Manors, Castles, in that Game.

One of the Reasons i already love Ashes of Creation so much. The fact that we "build" the World with our Progression. We build up Nodes - and sometimes "LITERALLY" our own Estates known as Freeholds.

nah, the bard will define how everybody will play, even if dual boxing will be necessary or not, party progression possible without a bard or not?, etc.

    Oh, Cool!
I think I heard Node Wars mentioned - but not that that's the focus of next month's Livestream. Thanks!

Daily reminder that Dual Boxing is fucking cancer. Remove it Steven, thanks.

Tbh I've never minded it, mostly because there have never been too many around in my experience.
As someone pointed out in another thread, they're usually pretty easy to handle in PvP.
They can pull off some tasty damage on occasion when everything's just right but for all the faff/expense involved, meh, have at it.

    I actually don't want dual box in the game ugh. and I really hope I don't need to multi box supports to progress, like on l2. i just wanna find a cp and play ;-;

I've been very excited about bards since playing on in BG3. I think there's a lot of versatility possible there with instrument types and weights, armor types, magic usage, different weapon fighting styles, singing in place of an instrument, etc. Hopefully the team will capitalize on it.
