I want to keep it simple as I'm fresh to the forums.
I'm looking for a few things;
-Info on spells/abilities for each primary archetype.
-Armor classes and how mitigation will work
-any info on pvp zones, when are where, all open world? battlegrounds/arena?
-perhaps a list of status effects and options to clear them(potions or spells, etc)
-Global cooldowns and other CD's info
-Fast Travel options
-Faction/team rewards info regarding pvp and pve
-How hard will it be for an individual to find their way into power. (will streamers basically always end up becoming mayor?)
-How many characters can you have per account per server?
I'm looking for a few things;

I dont really want to stare at an archive of something that is in development, kinda feels like reading last weeks newspaper
It's in your own interest to learn everything you can about the topic you wanna discuss on the wiki and then come to the forum and make suggestions to the current design or ask deeper questions/opinions on that design.
Yes I should have been clearer, I'm looking for people to direct me to the conversations. With some time spent watching videos and tuning in for other updates, a simple wiki link assuming I don't know the "Super Basics" isn't quite what I'm looking for. I found it overwhelming to find the topics I wanted discuss or a starting ground to get involved so I made a post.
There's no "one conversation" that we're currently having. There's nothing to point to. Anyone here is simply interested in something and then either creates a thread about that topic or tries to look for other threads on it (by using the search function).

Open Seas are no Corruption PvP, there will be arenas

Basically, your questions have not truly been answered by the devs, game isn't that far along yet.

The forum search function is fairly precise, though the wiki is the best source of straight - accurately sourced - info.
Next best would be to YouTube the last 4-5 monthly updates and just put them on the background.

Regarding the wiki, the team that runs it is very good. It's updated very quickly, and contains better information than the forum here does. This is why it's being recommended to you so frequently. But yes, it does require some sort of effort on your part.
Edit: Do bear in mind that this is a very early game-in-progress, and that lots of the stuff you're looking for info about hasn't even been coded yet.
