Office Hours is an opportunity to join the player discussion on topics we're actively collecting feedback on. Join @Roshen and @Vaknar over in the Ashes of Creation Discord for a voice chat during our next Community Office Hours on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 11AM PT (convert to your local time). This event should last about one hour.

This is not a Q&A session. For this session, we will be using Discord Stage. Every 10 minutes, we’ll be bringing up small groups of players to participate in one of the discussion prompts on this topic.

DISCUSSION TOPIC

We’ll be talking about a variety of topics the team is looking for feedback on, based on what we shared during the April 2024 Development Update Livestream.

In this session, we’ll break each of the 10 minute segments up to focus on one of these conversations:
  • General Discussion - What are your thoughts regarding what was shared during the Midnight Magic livestream? Things we’re looking for feedback on are wand weapon attacks, horizontal and vertical progression from Weapon Progression Trees, and updates to lighting, and Mage skills and abilities.
  • Wand Weapon Progression Tree - How do you feel about the direction of the Wand Weapon Progression Tree based on what was shared during the April 2024 Development Update, and in social media videos like this one?
  • Weapon and Ability Playstyles - How are you looking to use weapon combos with your ability rotation? What playstyles do you think need to be better supported?
  • Lighting Discussion - What do you think about nighttime lighting based on what was shared during the Midnight Magic livestream? We’d like feedback on our current darkness levels, the nighttime sky, improvements to lighting, and how lighting from visual effects from spells interacts with the world.
If you’d like to contribute to this discussion, we recommend you watch the Alpha Two Midnight Magic Preview video.

Thanks again! We look forward to chatting with you all soon!

NOTE: If you have feedback about things shared during the Midnight Magic Preview, and you don’t share it with us during Office Hours, please share it with us here.
