    Howdy! For the roleplay community, can we look forward to any QOL additions that are catered to them specifically? For example, things like a toggled flag beside your name that denotes you as an RPer, or the ability to have inspect-able character bios.

    Apparently be it either via Grappling-Hook, or possible other Mechanics - a few Classes like for Example Rogues(?) will have Skills to climb a Nodes Walls, if it has any. Probably not a Palisade with Spikes for Top/Tip-Ends, but actual Walls with a Guards Walkway on them, or so.

    Have you guys considered the issue that arise with Town Board approach to questing? Such as - repetitive, very grindy, monotonous style questing.

    With the clear direction of Open world, which i love, there is a fear of missing out on a lot of the main content in Ashes of Creation as a Casual player.
    Is any mechanics planned for open world raid bosses or dungeons, to hinder that these are not being cleared over and over again by the same group people on spawn?

    Any plans for local nodes to be able to protect a world boss? Say they awaken a frost dragon that get the area stuck in winter. What if said node wants to then specialize in year round winter crops or use frozen rivers as roads?

    @FantMX (question) - Players are not able to be attacked or robbed while occupying their player stall inside the limits of a node. Material losses may occur if the node's warehouse is destroyed during a node siege. Players may be killed while occupying their personal shop and are subject to material loss due to normal death penalties. You can find this answer, and many more here, on the wiki!

    @Viriz (question) - Death Penalties apply to you regardless of whether your death was the cause of a PvP or PvE situation unless otherwise specified (such as objective-based events in which death penalties mostly do not apply). You can read more about death penalties here, on the wiki!

    @arsnn (question) - Commodities cannot be stored in a player's inventory. Commodities are transported by caravans and merchant ships in sealed crates. You can learn more about crates, commodities, and cargo here, on the wiki!

    @Vyril (question) - At a certain proximity to the caravan, any player will receive the event notification to participate either as an attacker or as a defender. You can read more about this here, on the wiki!

    @Tyranthraxus (question) - There may be easter eggs in Ashes of Creation ;)

    @Nasicus (question) - Many end-level items with crafting will require mats from world bosses etc. we want those systems intertwined. However, there may be opportunities to deconstruct high-level items and replace those needed materials as well. We will be testing the crafting trees in alpha and beta.     @Stoic (question) - Well, that could depend on how much the player uses the WASD keys ;)

    @Sauronplay (question) - Ashes of Creation utilizes a hybrid combat system. You can see hybrid elements on recent livestream showcases :)

    @Menda Goodbody (question) - Our goal is to give players a robust UI that allows for complete control, including remapping keys <3

    @DaConMan24 (question) - Players are flagged as combatants if they attack another (non-corrupted) player when carrying out a forced attack. If the attacked player fights back, they are also flagged as combatants, otherwise the attacked player will remain flagged as a non-combatant.     @akabear (question) - Each of the five castles has its own static layout. Defenders may deploy traps and blockades within their castle, as well as hire mercenary NPCs to defend specific locations. You can read more about this here, on the wiki!

    @Tenguru (question) - When it comes to lore, we're mostly keeping our cards close to our chests, as to not spoil anything ;)

    @furynatir (question) - Bards will have a wide range of abilities to choose from, such as wordsmithing, acting, and musical aspects. Bard mechanics include proximity-based skill combination melodies through dances, songs, and stories. ;) You can read more about Bards here, on the wiki!

    @Pshields (question) - Food and drink in Ashes of Creation will provide benefits (buffs) based on the type of consumable. You can read more about cooking and food/drink here, on the wiki!

    @Aqualutum (question) - We'd love to expand the world of Verra across different mediums! We have an Ashes of Creation board game we'd love to produce, which you can read about here, on the wiki!

    @Sorcres (question) - The answer is both! We have a team of folks designing archetypes. One designer may be the lead on two, and another on one, for example. They're also a very collaborative effort with our design teams <3

    @Mionikoi (question) - Players may place furniture, artwork/paintings, and other decor items in their player housing. Items may only be placed in locations that are suitable for that item. For example: Statues, may only be placed in exterior locations (of Freeholds and Static housing). You can read plenty more about this here, on the wiki!

    @Individuated Soul (question) - We have no plans for removing the skill and stat dampening aspect of the player corruption system at this time. We're excited to test the player corruption system on a larger scale during A2, however ;)

    @Sclomotion (question) - A player does not need to declare citizenship of any node. These players won't need to pay taxes but will miss out on benefits of citizenship. You can read more about node citizenship here, on the wiki!

    @Apok (question) - There are no plans for a "contingency" for this scenario at this time. <3

    @MissionCreep (question) - This is not something we have planned for at this time <3

    @Paint4Blood (question) - The majority of Ashes of Creation players will experience PvP through opt-in objective-based battlegrounds (also called sanctioned PvP events). These are high-risk and high-reward encounters that do not utilize the corruption system. This livestream will have been a good example of a battleground :) You can read more about open-world battlegrounds here, on the wiki!

    @savndor (question) - The team is always looking at implementing new tech within Ashes of Creation. Be sure to stay tuned to our Dev Update livestreams and socials where we often discuss these implementations :)

    @PavlovDead (question) - It's very possible you may see spells or abilities around trickery and illusions ;)

    @Spittfyre (question) - Ashes of Creation provides gameplay options for solo-oriented players. You can read more about solo players here, on the wiki!

    @divher (question) - Abilities from the summon appear on the summoner's hotbar. The summoner is essentially playing through their summon. Summoner has control over their summon unless the summon is under ancillary effects. We'll have more to share regarding summoners in the future <3 You can learn more about summoners here, on the wiki!

    @kanersen (question) - Summoners summon different varieties of summons, depending on the class and augments they choose. You can read more about summoners here, on the wiki!

    @Frost01 (question) - The aim is for Ashes of Creation to have a T for Teen rating, but it may end up having a M for Mature rating. This is of course subject to change. We'll have a better idea as we progress in development :)

    @mutuhh (question) - There will be player collision in Ashes of Creation.

    @MacAran (question) - One example of this could be new guilds forming alliances with existing guilds to carve out a place in Verra for themselves :)

    Respectfully @Vaknar that answer was provided with the context of being able to be killed during a node siege. So it sounds like that answer can be broadened out to at any time? Not just during a node siege?

    So, what you're really wondering is if a player is operating their stall within a node during a siege, will the player be able to be killed?

    No. It was whether the player operating a player shop, say for example outside of a dungeon, is killable even outside of a declared siege. I am guessing the answer yes, they are able to be killed anywhere, anytime, opposed to player stalls which are protected spaces.

    I see. Yes, this is what I believed your original question to be, so I'll stick with the answer in the main response post. Your assumption is correct, but this is of course subject to testing and further iteration :)

    With the support being brought back, adding to the holy trinity most mmos are known for, besides weapon skills and talents, how to you plan to impliment this role withouth just just standing in the back and acting as a mana or stamina battery or something similar? I plan on playing a variation of Bard and am curious how important my role will be and where I will fall on the battlefield to make my class WANTED instead of another healer or DPS.
