Armour merging and Weapon crafting/merging

Just to start this is probably not possible but thought would be cool to talk about and see if anything comes from it.
Firstly the weapon side I was thinking it would be cool to have a crafting system like warframe where you can get parts and make your own weapon like the if a dagger make the handle then the guard then the blade and you could go indepth on each part like if you wanted to have writing on the blade you could have it etched granted that would need to be approved because of bad words or like on a staff you could have the bottom half of the handle be one way and the other half another or with a magic staff you could have a different top part from the staff bit which would make the world more unique instead of everyone having the same looking armour/weapons and then weapon merging is the deeper bit of crafting weapons this bit would be joining to weapons together like a magic staff and a spear or bostaff with a blade at the bottom and then you could get the close range weapon animation of the bostaff and the long range spells of the magic part which could add more uniqueness to each character, one of the things that brought this on is my dnd character where she uses a bostaff with a chain and is able to swing the staff like a whip for distance and then use the staff normally like a staff for closeness.

Armour Crafting/Merging
This part is the armour side it is kinda the same as the weapons but with armour but basically i think it would be cool if you could craft parts of the armour then join them together to make a unique set but the armour will get a heavy meter when being merged so the heavier it is the more protection but other negatives type system and then also if you find armour you want from a boss or something you can take the part you like and separate it to merge with another set then melt the rest to get materials for buffs you could which too lose and if you took it off the armour it would minus the buff percentage depending on how much you take off for instance if you take the chest piece it will retain the most percentage of buff compared to if you took a shoulder because the chest is imbued with more of the spell or whatever since bigger area, you could also have places where you can enchanted gear and return the lost buffs to the original amount before separating it, this is because it would make the world more unique once agaiin rather than people all running around with the same armour on because it does the most for that class or it looks the coolest from a boss it will make people feel more connected to what they have done and make crafters be able to have more of a impact on their craft and also make crafters be able to stand out compared to other crafters if they had a label or a marking they put on to say this is a piece i crafted.
Accessories
This is more of something i think could be done by adding i think it would be cool to have accessories because you could add something to your armour to make you stand out like a helmet ponytail like knights had a clan sash around your waste or house emblem i would love to have a long braided ponytail out a knight helmet going down to my thighs i think that would look cool IMO and again would make character standout from each other and make the world alive.
Thank you
