Please add Quivers for anyone using a bow

I'm not sure if this has been answered, if so, Sorry in advance, but i cant seem to find any confirmation

as stated above, i think many players that play some sort of hunter/ranger class in MMO's would love to have a quiver even if it just cosmetic, i read on the wiki that a quiver may be some sort of temporary buff but i think it would be a much better idea to make it part of the bow cosmetic design even if there is no animation to match ( that would be a bonus )

also being able to sheath the bow on our back would be really cool, i don't know if this is already planned or possible :), if anyone has anymore info on this please let me know!, if not what do you guys think?

As far as I know Ashes is planning to show gear on character like many games.

(People talk about games where you can't see your character's weapon when not in combat but I actually only know this from Guild Wars, out of the main games that do this... maybe Neverwinter too? I don't remember.

Either way, many games show them, Ashes intends to be ones of those games. Quivers are included.

warcraft does it to an extent for example you can't see a crossbow or bow while you are using melee weapons, but you are right its not very common,

yeah i think ashes has a huge variety of items that you can see on your character, and a lot of new ideas too which i think is really cool, but most of these items have some sort of art models made and are quite easy to find, however i can't find any art for quivers, and the wiki seems to say that they are going to be a temporary buff ( i might be wrong )

Hm, nope, you're right, I went to look for the quote that I remembered and there's nothing there.

So either I confused it with backpacks, it was changed (I'm not scraping the wiki to verify) or my mind just straight up made it up for whatever reason.

There is no art for quivers, no confirmation of their usage or existence, and no indicator that they would be displayed. Previous post won't be edited since it was already quoted.

i've had quite a good look on the wiki, definitely don't go spending hours looking for it haha, i just hope that this is something that is planned as it is such a small thing that adds so much immersion, i think it would be a mistake not to have quivers, better still if they had animations but that might be reaching, hopefully we can get some sort of confirmation

I definitely don't have the knowledge to give a valid answer on this but, i don't think it would be to much of big task to make them either, like you said they already have backpacks and their not to different in model.

Since Quivers got optically added even in Worst of Warcraft since Legion with some Artifact Skins,

and even with the Trading Post since awhile - > i see no Reason why another MMO with a clearly superior Engine and Coding should not be able to have this as well.

I figure if Ashes has scabbards for swords, quivers would just make sense.

It would be cool if when you equipped the bow, a quiver also showed in the same style on the player's back, but perhaps being able to toggle it on or off if you'd rather it not show.

This!! I 100% agree, correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is what they did with Wow, or it may have just been the legion artifact weapons that had the same art style quiver.

Anyhow it worries me a little that we have seen so many bow models and nothing on the quiver, leading me to believe this may be out of the question, atleast for the already made weapons.

I dont think its game breaking as having a quiver reflecting your level would be pretty immersive reguardless, for example starting with a basic leather pouch almost, but I love the idea of matching art styles!

I like what PoE and Diablo 3 did and made the quiver an actual peice of gear with mods like it was an offhand weapon. This could actually be used on both ascetics and character building by allowing more offensive modifiers through gear to get used.

let's say for example, elemental modifiers are limited to 1 per weapon so players who would want to attack with fire and ice would have to dual wield, but a bow user can have fire on their bow and ice on their quiver to build a bowmage.

That would be a great idea!, Wow does something similar but it's just a passive attack speed modifier I believe and a bag slot.
I'd love it to have stats or be somewhat customizable, maybe it could fade in with leather working
