Phase I of Alpha Two testing will occur on weekends. Each weekend is scheduled to start on Fridays at 10 AM PT and end on Sundays at 10 PM PT. Find out more here.

There is a ton of hype building for the upcoming alpha 2 stage of development for Ashes of Creation. Unfortunately a lot of people are probably expecting a nearly complete game. We need to set realistic expectations.

    I suspect the hype will die down more rapidly than the usual "streamer cycle" for new games. Once people log in and see it is in fact a test phase, they'll lose interest.

    And that's fine, testing isn't everyone's cup of tea. And I'm confident the quality of the end product when the finished game launch comes around will garner more interest than any negative feelings generated by A2 being an actual Alpha.
