Did Intrepid sneak in more lighting overhaul.

I remember them going off about an upcoming lighting overhaul in the recent caravan showcase. But when we got the nighttime skybox showcase the other month they didn't really give me the impression that what we were seeing was the overhaul.

They stated they did some stuff to the lighting, but not enough to call it an overhaul and just the way it was worded and presented it seemed like the skybox was the main thing that got changed at that point.

The nights looked phenomenal that showcase but it was hard to tell how the lighting had changed since we don't really get any new videos at night like that.

Anyways what I'm getting at is the game looked different this showcase and I'm almost positive it was the lighting. Was it just because it was spring and cloudy or did they slip in more of the overhaul without mentioning anything.

Cause I'm gonna be honest I think most showcases from the last year look awful. I really really didn't like how the game looked aside from very few areas. Like... The graphics, not the design so much.

But this showcase.... Holyyyyyyy moly the game looked insanely great. Everywhere they went the game looked so amazing, minus the ground textures when they were explaining abilities.

Part of it was world design, I mean the area was so beautifully designed, but the game just... Looks better.. like a LOT better, and I'm kind of confused.
