Bard Synergies, as Seen in the Bard Showcase

So I was SUPER hyped by the Bard showcase and we saw MANY different abilities with many different synergies. I'm a HUGE Bard fan and already wanted to start theory-crafting ability combos and synergies in the Bard kit. I'm pretty sure Bucky was using many of these combos during the play session, but I wanted to put together a list of synergies that (hopefully) myself and other bard enjoyers can test out during alpha 2.

So without further ado, here's the combo's and synergies I've found:

Discordance applies staggered, Get off the Stage will DISARM those STAGGERED targets, OR Mesmerizing Dance will STUN those STAGGERED targets

Next:

Quick Wit applies DEMORALIZED to an enemy, Maddening Dance applies HUMILIATED to DEMORALIZED targets

Next:

Mesmerizing dances INCAPACITATES enemies, Dark Lullaby applies STUN for 6 seconds to an INCAPACITATED target after the final hit

Next:

INTO ---> Spells that apply Frozen (Mage synergies)

Next are healing synergies, which are a little less straight-forward:


increases healing received by 20% for party members, which should synergize with ANY Bard (or cleric) heal, so here's a list of the Bard heals:

1) Glee is a buff applied by Quick Wit and Lovely Serenade's last tick

2) Quick Wit heals when targeting an ally

3) Lovely Serenade looks to be the strongest single target heal for Bard currently

4) Shielding Dance is a small heal AND shield, seems REALLY strong

5) Cathartic Melody is lifesteal, is lifesteal effected by healing received buffs?

These are most of the synergies I've noticed, let me know if other folks saw things I missed! Cathartic Melody and Cheerful Melody would only synergize if the Bard took the Music Mastery: Counterpoint talent choice, which allows for 2 Melodies to be maintained at once. I hope this node is expanded for more melodies to be twisted like Original EQ!

I think the skills we saw were from two Augments. Still not 100% sure how that will work. Still very cool
