Religion and augments

Are the religious augments going to have a decent impact on PVP? Maybe certain attacks would do more dmg or have bonus effects against corrupted Targets? Because I heard Divine nodes are going to be more PVE oriented I was just curious if religion and their bonuses could have an effect in PVP as well.

So when a High/Arch-Bishop of a Divine Node is nigh completely Immune against Corruption, or Lightning, or Frost, or Fire, or Undead(??) kind of Damage or whatever,

but we all know it would be reasoned/founded with the fact that he has a certain Item for it.
