Please reconsider the number of realms you want to start with!

I know you already said in the livestreams you will create more realms if needed. But i beg you to reconsider your plans for the start of A2. You already sold over 100k A2 packs. So to start with 6 realms with 3k ccu is not enough by far.
Starting with so few realms and then starting up more realms on demand after the A2 start is a problem mostly for guilds. As a guild you need to plan which realm you want to join. And this realm then has to have enough spots for all guild members.
Please change your plan and start with far more realms so all the guilds can better plan which realm to join.

17k per realm for Alpha 2 doesn’t seem far off.
Didn’t see the stream though … what am I missing?
After they get the information on how many will actually show up....that's when the decisions will be made to add or remove servers.
It seems you havent even read the first sentence of my post.
and they will add more servers. Its not a long process
That's the issue though yeah? Players who log in and leave because "broken server" are not the players they need in the testing phase.
And all the proper testers will easily have enough space to test the game.
I don't think Intrepid is focusing on guild activities during Phase 1 of Alpha 2. It seems intentional to start with fewer realms to test server stability and run stress tests. This is an Alpha meant for testing, not for full-scale guild hunts right from the start. However, I completely understand the concerns given the number of players eager to get in. We’ll need to have a lot of patience when Alpha 2 kicks off, especially with the high demand.
Really looking forward to OCT 25th though
If it turns out that we cant play A2 because of queues tho... that's totally lame. It not like anyone cares about realm mergers at this point. They have complete control over user throttling. It's purely a pain point for the people who paid to TEST the game.
... ... ... ... ... ... ... the Question is ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
How much Drama -> (because believe me there WILL be lots of juicy Drama x'D) will we see, (?)
as People try to log in for the first Weeks - only to find themselves in waiting Ques of like +5 to +12 Hours,
only to then experience a DISCONNECT or the likes,
and then all their tormented Emotions ( ) will finally rip and tear like the last thread of patience they had left,
realising all their Copium-filled self and soul is getting cucked YET again,
after they waited partially several Years and paid god-who-knows how much ?? x'D
I found Peace with the Knowledge that all the People thirsting for Alpha Two, WILL get f~ed over hard and more than they like. For some Reason, the probably last, best, coming MMO of these Decades or of Time itself,
has the worst labour pains of all time as well. Makes Sense that Fun comes with a Price. After all : a new Technology is developed secondarily in realtime as we read this Text here -> to make it possible in the first Place.
As i am still in a very abusive Relationship with what was once my favourite MMO myself - > i can understand that People have endured just enough crap and shit that they thirst for Ashes of Creation like a Man in a hot Desert dying of thirst.
And i am not even Narc. That Dude is "enduring" (to say it tame) way harder than me. To many shitty Games. To many shitty MMO Games. To many shitty MMO Games for "TO LONG".
How often did Expansions cuck us ? How long has Nostalgia kept us at a Game that has long been become a piece of you know what ?
Ashes is many People's final attempt to escape. If that doesn't work out ... ... ... ... they might or surely quit MMO's in general. And rightfully so.
At least with Ashes, People will be able to accept if it is truly over - > or if it is finally the Salvation they have been looking for the last +10 Years.

✓ Currently no guild !! (o_o)
ever considered that they want there to be queues and cram as many people they can in the small play area.
Stability and performance is there main goal here this phase is basicly an upscale version of what going on currently to a degree
There a reason they were adamant that if your expecting a game especially dont buy into phase one.
They said they can spin up servers as they need however i suspect they plan to keep every server having queues in some way during the tests especially first couple weekends
also if i was to take a wild stab at things im guessing phase 2 was originally gonna be where A2 started for people however server performance is probably been causing them issues atm and this is there solution to not to delay further
