This would solve a lot of problems for a lot of different people.
People that might not be able to make full use of a 120€ key for 1-2 years. People that have problems with the heavy upfront cost for different reasons. It would give flexibility and remove the problem of fomo.
I hope the team takes it into consideration. If you like the idea state it here so they see there is demand for it
