Oh look another A2 key post....joy....
Ok kiddos...I don't post much so things must have happened for me to crawl out of my rock.
Not only has the community bullied so they get Beta keys and stuff (which....it's fine im ok) but the sheer amount of hate I'm seeing....*sigh*

Ok no one is reading this far so ill only put my feelings for Steven and company now in how I feel.
"This is an Alpha" we know, we are fine with this, do you know what we are used to? why we love this project so much?

"the servers are barely stable, the game and characters could wipe" You mean Icarus when it first came out? what it currently is because every mission that isn't "Open World" wipes at the end of the timer/mission? Kool, bring it on!

"there is only a few biomes open, not all biomes are available" You mean Valhim? My friends and I were in the barren Ashlands 3 days after it came out, putting teleporters down and building stuff. it's ok we get it, just know i might try to see how far the world goes and it's not a bad thing, I'm perfectly happy doing it.

"not all content is gonna be available, not all NPCs, quests, endgame will be available, this is an alpha" you mean Fallout 76 at launch?, when it was a "feature", because "you are the first out of the vault! the world may be barren but you will build it!" again, Bring it! i was building a base that 3 days later I found destroyed and couldn't build on again, and come 2 years later it was because an NPC was going to have their base there. I found it amazing that i was like "oh this is a perfect spot for a base" yea because it was gonna be a NPC base! 2 years!!! after you found it!!! and started building on it!! but sure you being "first out of the vault, the world is yours to build" is a thing...I guess

"There will be bugs" again you mean Fallout 76 at launch? when I was building bases and things were clipping and random enemies/mounts would just LAUNCH into the air? ok, I'm fine with it! as you said it's an Alpha i expect this.

"we will have a few races, a few enemies and a few bosses but no endgame" you mean current AAAA released fully polished Skull and Bones? yea I get it! you are doing great.

This, all of this this is the state of the gaming industry this is what gamers are comparing you with, this isn't a fully released game with a constant loop and no ending (SpyHunter) or impossible to play levels (BattleToads, Genesis Lion King) this is an MMO that you are openly developing. You are a small Indy company, with limited resources, you are not Squaresoft with all the money and all the people who took 8 years to develop FFXIV 1.0 as was so bad had to bring the servers down for 2 years to make ARR which means it took them over 10 years to develop. You are not releasing a Beta level grindfest to pad the playtime out because you don't have content and calling it a "Fully realized and polished AAAA game!" , you are saying you have limited content cause it's an Alpha.

"We are paying to playtest an Alpha" Yes....and give feedback they listen to...instead of being tricked into playtesting an alpha...i mean a fully polished and realized AAAA game that will have DLC and content years down the line (glaring at Fallout 76, Skull and Bones, Valhim, and others in my library I haven't touched in years because they were sold as fully realized games and not the barley stable Alpha/Beta's they were when I played them)

"$100 is too much for a Alpha key! give us more" .......*checks notes*..... *Gestures broadly to Fallout 76 & Skull and Bones $60-$80 price for launch* that was enough, you didn't need to give them more from what I've seen...but it is what it is. You are underselling your talent for more people and more feedback...which I guess it's ok, its expensive to develop games. I'm just saying you can do what your doing and your "alpha" is on equal footing with "fully polished and realized" games from 6 years-current ago.

"we were promised fully playable Alpha to launch" *checks notes* oh no other MMORPG has this type of technology....it's probably not 100% stress tested, it probably doesn't work 100% correctly, there are probably bugs, there are probably unknowns...but with the timeline could be by May of next year....COOOOL! Yall are releasing what you can cause you understand you have but unlike normal companies who have departments that instead of you trying to justify and explain why things are like they are, take your explanation and turn it into nice buzzwords as "features" for a "fully polished AAAA game" you are calling it an Alpha with a timeline....*thumbs up*

Yall are doing amazing! I'm Glad i backed the Kickstarter, I'm sad i missed A1 because of depression...but its ok..yall are having A2 up soon and I will make up for it. Kids are spoiled, they want it now, and they are used to "stable Alphas" and Betas as "Early Access, Fully polished AAAA completed games" Your "Alpha" is on par with FULL RELEASES!!! but you are not selling it like that, yall are calling it what it is, a game in progress and I am happy to have backed you how I could, when I could. I don't make alot but I pulled together finances and did what I could and I'm still happy I got what I have. I don't post alot/good (i'll be amazed if someone from your team even reads this far, if so the password is "Grey Poupon" so I'm thinking ill just stream and give feedback as I play/find bugs/give ideas/ect/ect.

Stay the Course! don't listen to the haters! they will be paying their sub and playing your game. Your Idea of an MMORPG that can update and never...again NEVER have to be brought down for service (something current MMOS from giant companies with more money then GOD can't even do!!!) will be the standard that these games will be compared to...they may even come to you to license your tech, so remember to patent that sh!t.
