Impact from flying mounts.

Hello, I watched the video of the nods war here again, and noticed that flying dragons are a very formidable force and are capable of single-handedly turning the tide of a battle. the question is ripe, will the death of this dragon be as significant a loss as its impact? ) So to speak, risk versus reward) For example, a weekly revival cycle, or a high price for his resurrection? And perhaps it would be cool to have some kind of ground-based guns with nets, harpoons, or something like that, so that mortal heroes from the ground could make a significant contribution by shooting down enemy aircraft)

The stuff you saw in the node wars is for testing that impact in combat. For the Alpha 2 node mayors will have access to flying mounts for those events (possible other times, not confirmed) this is to gather data and refine systems for the actual release client where flying is much more limited in scope. There is indeed a penalty for losing your mount in battle, whether it is flying, gliding or regular with a lengthy respawn timer (we don't know how long yet, or if the timer is based on tier) but there are ways planned to shorten that respawn timer through in game mechanics such as stables and fees paid in game currency. Look to this for everything known so far about flying.
